Erykah St. Louis is a strategist and storyteller working at the intersection of data, design, and public trust.
She previously served as the first Digital Director for the State of Maryland under Governor Wes Moore, where she helped reshape how state government communicates with residents in the digital age. She built and led the Governor’s digital presence, producing impactful video campaigns, growing audience engagement, and defining the visual and storytelling voice of the Moore administration online. Today, Erykah serves as Senior Advisor to Maryland’s Chief Data Officer, where she focuses on making government data more accessible and meaningful to the public. Her work centers on translating complex information into stories and experiences that help people better understand the systems that shape their lives.
With over 15 years of experience spanning government, international development, and the private sector, Erykah brings a design thinker’s mindset to communication—blending strategy, storytelling, and empathy to bridge the gap between institutions and communities. Originally from Montréal with Caribbean roots, she now lives in the Washington, D.C. area with her son.
